- 9 August 2019 -
AirBaltic has painted a third Airbus A220-300 in a special flag livery, this time with the national colours of Lithuania.
The airline has now A220s in a special colour scheme with the flag of Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania. The aircraft with the Lithuanian flag, YL-CSK, has also been given the name of Lithuania's capital Vilnius. The paint job required 1.000 manhours and 250 liters of primer, paints and lacquer.
AirBaltic currently offers 80 direct routes from Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania. During the first six months of 2019 the airline has transported over 240,000 passengers to and from Lithuania, 20 percent more than last year.
