Air Austral orders Airbus A220-300

Air Austral, based on France’s Réunion Island in the Indian Ocean, has ordered three Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
Air Austral has chosen the A220-300 to partly renew its short and medium haul fleet. The first delivery will take place in late 2020. The aircraft will seat 132 passengers.
Air Austral is the first A220 customer based in the Indian Ocean region. The airline currently operates eight aircraft: one ATR-72, two Boeing 737-800s, three Boeing 777s and two Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
