Air Seychelles receives its first A320neo
- 31 July 2019 - Air Seychelles has taken delivery of its first Airbus A320neo. The aircraft is leased from CDB Aviation and is Africa’s first A320neo.
Air Seychelles will operate the aircraft on its services to Johannesburg and Mumbai. Apart from the new A320neo, Air Seychelles operates two A320ceo aircraft. Last year it abandoned its two Airbus A330 longhaul aircraft.

Another new A320neo operator is the Chinese carrier Hongtu Airlines, which received its first of four aircraft of the type from lessor GECAS. The airline operates under the brand 'Air Travel'. (Photo below: GECAS)
