Kuwait Airways orders Airbus A330-800

Kuwait Airways has signed a 'purchase agreement' for eight Airbus A330neo aircraft of the A330-800 version.
For Airbus this is a very welcome order for the smallest version of the two members of the A330neo Family. The only other customer at the moment is start-up airline Uganda Airlines, which ordered two A330-800s.
The national carrier of Kuwait also has A350 XWB and A320neo Family aircraft on order as part of its fleet renewal process. The delivery of the new Airbus fleet will start in 2019.
The A330 has reached over 1,700 orders from 120 customers and more than 1,400 A330s are flying with over 120 operators worldwide. (Photo: Airbus)
