First A330neo for Air Sénégal flies

The first Airbus A330neo ordered by Air Sénégal has performed its maiden flight on 29 January 2019.
The airline has two A330-900neo aircraft on order. Air Sénégal is a young airline. It was founded in 2016 and started operations in April 2018. It currently has a fleet of four aircraft: two ATR 72 turboprops and two Airbus A319s. It is based at Blaise Diagne International Airport in Dakar, Sénégal.
The A330neos will be used on a new service from Dakar to Paris. After delivery of the second aircraft, the airline also wants to begin services to North America and Brazil. (Photo: Airbus)
