First BA Airbus A350-1000 arrives

British Airways (BA) has received its first Airbus A350-1000. BA has ordered 18 A350-1000s, and its IAG sister airline so far operates five of the smaller A350-900 version.
British Airways A350-1000s seat up to 331 passengers, including 219 economy and 56 premium economy seats, plus 56 seats in the new 'Club Suite' business class.
BA will initially fly the aircraft between London and Madrid. From September, the new A350-1000 will be operated on long-haul routes.
