First A350 delivered to Air France

Airbus A350-900 Air France

Air France has received its first Airbus A350-900. The airline has ordered 28 of the type.

Air France will operate its A350-900 fleet on its transatlantic routes and services to Asia. Its first A350 XWB has a three-class layout counting 324 seats: 34 full-flat business, 24 premium economy and 266 economy class seats. On its delivery flight from Toulouse to Paris the aircraft was powered with a blend of conventional and synthetic biofuel.

Air France currently operates an Airbus fleet of 143 aircraft. So far, the A350 XWB Family has received 913 firm orders from 51 customers worldwide. (Photo: Air France)
