United unveils new aircraft livery
- 24 April 2019 -
Boeing 737-800 N37267 is the first aircraft in the United Airlines fleet being painted in the new livery. The airline will officially unveil the new paint scheme later today, but it has already placed a video on social media showing the painting process of the aircraft.
The airline has restyled the globe on the tail. The gold and white are gone, the logo is now two shades of blue only. The cheatline will change into a wave like it already is now on United 787s, and also be blue. The United titles are blue and much bigger than the current ones. And the engine nacelles and the split scimitar winglets have become blue as well. The belly is still grey. The repainting took place by Leading Edge Aviation Services in Amarillo, Texas.
