Boeing 737-900 Pegas Fly

- 2 May 2019 -
Pegas Fly (Russia) has received its first Boeing 737-900ER from aircraft leasing company GECAS. It is the first 737-900 flying in Russia.

GECAS (General Electric Capital Aviation Services) delivered the 737 to Nordwind subsidiary Ikar Airlines LLC, which operates under the brand name 'Pegas Fly'. It will be followed by two more 737-900ER aircraft later this year.

Pegas Fly will use the aircraft on domestic services and medium-haul international flights. The airline has its headquarters in Krasnoyarsk and although it is based at Yemelyanovo International Airport, most flights are operated from Zhukovsky International Airport near Moscow to tourist destinations in Europe, Africa and Asia. Its fleet already comprises two Boeing 737-800s, five Boeing 767-300ERs and six Embraer E-190s. All aircraft are leased. (Photo: GECAS)
