Corendon 747-400 reaches hotel garden
- 10 February 2019 -
Ex-KLM Boeing 747-400 PH-BFB in Corendon livery has reached its final destination: the garden of the Corendon Village Hotel near Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
After three nightly transports, the aircraft has been moved from Schiphol to the recently built hotel in Badhoevedorp, near the airport. During the last night (9 to 10 February) it crossed a provincial road and was succesfully manoeuvred to its final location.
During the transport, the aircraft was loaded on a trailer with 192 wheels and it passed seventeen ditches, a highway and a provincial road. The aircraft is intended as an eye-catcher and will become a museum. (Photo: Corendon)
