Congo Airways chooses Embraer E175

Embraer has found a new customer for the E-Jet. Congo Airways has ordered two E175s.
The airline of the Democratic Republic of Congo also signed purchase rights for two more. Deliveries begin in the fourth quarter of 2020.
The E-Jets will replace the airline’s current two De Havilland Canada Dash 8 turboprops and serve domestic and regional cities in Africa from its hub at Kinshasa. Congo Airways also operates two Airbus A320s.
Each E175 has 76 seats, including 12 in Business Class. (Image: Embraer)
