A350 in combined Airbus/CAL livery

Airbus A350-9000 China Airlines in carbon fiber livery.

China Airlines (CAL, Taiwan) has taken delivery of its newest A350-900 aircraft, which is painted in a special combined Airbus/China Airlines livery.

The Airbus part of the livery is taken from one of the test aircraft (F-WZFU), which wears - in black - a carbon fibre theme colour scheme. China Airlines has now fourteen A350-900 aircraft in its fleet. The airline operates them on non-stop long-haul routes from Taipei to Europe and North America, and on selected routes in the Asia-Pacific region.

Over 200 A350s are in service now with 22 airlines and Airbus has recorded a 890 firm orders for the aircraft type from 46 customers worldwide. (Photo: Airbus)
