China Eastern receives its first A350-900

China Eastern Airlines has received its first Airbus A350. The airline has ordered a total of twenty A350-900s.
China Eastern is the largest Airbus operator in Asia and the second largest in the world. Its fleet includes now 358 Airbus jets: 50 A330s, 307 A320 Family aircraft and one A350.
The new passenger jet seats 288 passengers: four in first class, 36 in business class, 32 in premium economy and 216 in standard economy class.
China Eastern, based in Shanghai, will begin operations with the A350 on domestic services before flying it on long-haul services to destinations including Europe and North-America. (Photo: Airbus)
