Lufthansa orders more A350s and 787-9

Lufthansa Group has ordered 20 additional Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The airline also signed an order for 20 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.
The airline group has now a ordered a total of 45 A350s. Lufthansa has twelve A350s in service now and says that it is very confident with them. The aircraft meets the airline's expectations, it is very reliable and it receives excellent passenger feedback. Part of the additional aircraft will be operated by other members of the Lufthansa Group.
The order for 20 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners brings a new aircraft type in its fleet. In 2020 it also begins receiving Boeing 777-9 airplanes.
