Aeroflot orders 100 more Superjets
- 10 September 2018 -
Aeroflot has signed an agreement with United Aircraft Corporation for the delivery of 100 more Sukhoi Superjet (SSJ100) aircraft.
Deliveries will take place between 2019 and 2026, in a configuration with 87 passenger seats: 12 in business class and 75 in economy class. The deal is not a firm order yet. The final contracts will be signed after agreements on material terms and obtaining orporate approvals.
Aeroflot is already the biggest operator of the Superjet. It flies 49 SSJ100s out of orders for a total of 50. The airline began operating the Russian regional jet airliner in June 2011 between Moscow and St. Petersburg. Aerflot SSJ100 currently fly on domestic services, but also to international destinations including Dresden, Vilnius, Gothenburg, Bucharest, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Riga, Sofia and Tivat. (Photo: UAC)
